So apparently Red
Robin is known for a few things other than “…YUM!” For some reason, I had
thought they were like Johnny Rockets and a throwback to a bygone age. Not.
Even. Close.
Red Robin is a burger
house that’s setup like a TGI Friday’s/Applebee’s/Chili’s with a big ol’ bar
and plenty of TVs. They offer bottomless fries which means “all you can eat”
and not “tops only”. They have a wide variety of burgers and there are plenty
of options. I got a BBQ/onion ring deal and Brig got hers with a fried egg.
Other than that I didn’t
think it was anything special. Much like those 3 national chains, Red Robin has
no atmosphere. The food and service was fine but this isn’t a place you’d feel
the need to go more than a couple times a year. Regardless of the actual
restaurant, it’s safe to admit that at least their marketing department is onto
something. …YUM!
